Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Advances in Sports Research, Review and Trends (ASRRT) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of published works.

  1. Initial Screening
    • The Editorial Office reviews all submissions to check for compliance with the journal’s aims, scope, formatting guidelines, and plagiarism policy.
    • Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements may be returned to authors without review.
  2. Double-Blind Review
    • Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.
    • Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other to maintain impartiality and fairness.
  3. Reviewer Evaluation
    • Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity, validity of results, significance of findings, and contribution to the field.
    • Reviewers provide constructive comments and recommendations: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.
  4. Editorial Decision
    • The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with Associate Editors, makes the final decision based on reviewers’ reports and the overall merit of the submission.
    • Decisions are communicated clearly to authors, along with reviewer feedback.
  5. Revision and Resubmission
    • Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer comments.
    • Revised versions may be re-evaluated by the same reviewers for further validation.
  6. Final Acceptance and Publication
    • Once accepted, manuscripts undergo copyediting, layout, and proofreading before publication.
    • Accepted articles are published online in open access format, ensuring immediate availability to the global academic community.

The peer review process at ASRRT is designed to maintain high scholarly standards, promote transparency, and support the dissemination of impactful research in sports sciences and education.
