Publication Ethics

Advances in Sports Research, Review and Trends (ASRRT) upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal is committed to ensuring integrity, transparency, and academic excellence throughout the publishing process.

Duties of Editors

  • Ensure that all submitted manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the scope of the journal.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and not disclose information to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and editorial board members.
  • Make fair and unbiased decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts, without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, or political beliefs.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Provide constructive, objective, and timely feedback to improve the quality of the manuscript.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all manuscripts under review and not use unpublished information for personal advantage.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest and decline to review manuscripts where such conflicts exist.

Duties of Authors

  • Ensure that submitted works are original, properly cited, and free from plagiarism.
  • Provide accurate and transparent descriptions of methods, data, and findings.
  • Avoid duplicate submission or publication of the same work in more than one journal.
  • Disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that may influence the results or interpretation of their work.
  • Ensure that all individuals who made significant contributions are properly acknowledged as co-authors.

Duties of the Publisher (Nusantara Academic Press)

  • Safeguard the integrity of the academic record and ensure that publishing decisions are free from commercial influence.
  • Provide the necessary infrastructure for editorial independence, peer review, and long-term preservation of published works.
  • Investigate ethical concerns promptly and, where necessary, issue corrections, retractions, or apologies.

By submitting to ASRRT, authors agree to abide by the ethical standards outlined above. The journal takes ethical misconduct seriously and will take appropriate action in cases of proven malpractice.
